Food order going into a locker

Deliver to an unregistered user using Foodifox Drop-Off

Whether you're delivering with UberEats, Hungry Panda, MenuLog or any food delivery platform you’re going to encounter a resident who isn’t registered on the Foodifox platform.

No problem.

It’s common in high-rise buildings, especially with new residents, Airbnb guests, or users who entered a fake name on their order. The Foodifox Drop-Off app makes it easy to complete secure deliveries even when recipients aren't in the system.

Here’s how to do it — safely, quickly, and contact-free.

When would this happen?

  • A resident is new to the building

  • They haven’t signed up yet

  • The order is for an Airbnb guest

  • They’ve used a nickname or fake name on the order

Whether it’s food or parcels, the process is the same and works across all Foodifox lockers.

Step-by-step:

How to deliver food using Foodifox

Make sure you're already registered and logged into the Foodifox Drop-Off app. If not, read our guide on how to register as a driver.

  1. Search for the recipient by their unit/apartment number

  2. Can't find them?

Tap the “Can’t find recipient?” button

(It’s always visible in the search screen.)

  3. Enter the delivery details:

    • Unit number (mandatory – found on the delivery docket or app)

    • Recipient name (optional but helpful)

    • Confirm the details to continue

  4. Search for the recipient

Enter the recipient’s unit or apartment number (found on your delivery app or docket).

  5. Place the delivery in the locker — a door will open

  6. Close the locker door and notify the recipient

If your delivery platform (e.g. Hungry Panda, Fantuan) allows, use their in-app messaging to let the customer know

How does the recipient get notified?

Unregistered users can unlock the locker via our chatbot by scanning the QR code on the locker.

They'll be asked to confirm:

  • Their name

  • Mobile number

  • Unit number

If the info matches the delivery, the locker will open, and they'll be prompted to register for future deliveries.

If the recipient has any issues, they can also contact our team directly or ask building management for help.

Is it secure?

Yes! All deliveries are locked away and only accessible through identity-matching via chatbot or remote support. We also log all delivery actions in your Records tab.

If a delivery isn’t collected, we can remotely open lockers or coordinate with building staff.
